About

A Bilingual Life is a translation agency offering English-Spanish translation, interpretation, proofreading and editing services since 2013. Its founder, Ilana Gritzewsky Fainsod, was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and has been living in the US since 2001. Her passion for languages, travel, culture, and translation began at a young age growing up in the North of Mexico and spending lots of time across the border. Her experience as a certified bilingual Spanish elementary school teacher and ESL (English as a Second Language) professional, has fueled her passion for making sure language is never a barrier to access, but an opportunity to connect.

Most of her adult life has been spent in and out of the classroom, supporting parents and students alike as they transition from their native Spanish speaking countries into the United States and its school systems. Since 2013, A Bilingual Life has been offering translation, interpretation, proofreading and editing services in a variety of industries including Education, Manufacturing, Legal, Marketing and Transportation.

With a team made up of highly qualified and vetted freelance translators, we find the most culturally sensitive and adequate staff and approach for each project. No matter how big or how small, A Bilingual Life can make sure your communications are always ready for your target audience.
